All About Opal
One way to take neutrals to the next level is by using a metallic version of ivory, which is known as opal in the stationery world. You can mix both matte and metallic finishes, add in ribbons and florals, or play with the text and printing styles to dress up a neutral color like opal. Here are some invitation styles that feature different opal enclosures.
A Wedding at the Shore
This opal wedding invitation suite is designed for a wedding at Clark’s Landing Yacht Club in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. The tiny shell icon at the top and neutral metallic palette compliment the shore theme. The panel pocket enclosure holds the insert cards neatly in the back. An ivory satin bow gives an elegant touch.

Lasercut Details
Gold foil and letterpress printing dress up this invitation suite for a wedding at The Rockleigh in Garfield, NJ. The front these invites may look like a standard opal panel pocket enclosure, but when you flip them over you will find a gorgeous laser cut pocket that holds the insert cards in place. Gold and opal are the perfect pair!
The pocket in the back features delicate lasercut details.

A Hint of Baby’s Breath
An opal jacket sleeve, ivory satin ribbon and a bit of baby’s breath come together to make these gorgeous wedding invites. Baby’s breath graphics can be found on the invite, as well as the dinner menus and escort cards, keeping the overall look cohesive.

Dinner menus were also printed on opal paper, with a tiny graphic of baby’s breath at the top.
Opal & Ivory
These opal panel pockets are all tied up in a pretty ivory satin bow. A traditional script font is carried throughout the Details booklet and insert cards. For this invitation suite, we added some fun colored graphics on the Signature Cocktail card.
