how this whole thing works

We strive to provide each of our couples with a unique, fun and stress-free experience that you can be a part of.

Our process is not a “pick-out-of-a-book” approach, but one where we work together to create completely custom invites specifically for your event. It is a true collaboration and the sky is the limit for what we can create together!

consultations

We’ll meet to get to know you and your partner, discuss everything we need to know about your dream wedding stationery: from colors and fonts, to wording, graphics and style, we get into ALL the details.

design

The Art Paper Scissors team gets hard at work to create 3 custom and unique stationery design mock-ups based on your wedding theme and vibe plus the design elements you love. Designs will take 3-4 weeks to be completed, but let us know if you are in a time crunch and we can usually work with any timeline.

edits + choices

After you get all your mockups and have a chance to review them, that’s where the fun begins. Choose the font from one style, the wording from another style or the belly band from the third style. Have fun mixing and matching all the different elements. Once we go over your edits, we would go back and forth with PDF proofs however many times we need to until everything is perfect and you are ready to sign off!

printing

Once your sign off on the approval of your invitations, we get to work on the printing, production and assembly. If you would like us to address your envelopes, we will stuff and seal them for you as well! The final production takes about 3-4 weeks. If you need your invitations in a hurry, let us know ahead of time and we can discuss your timeline.
