Fun with Fonts and Text

Not a fan of lots of color and bold graphics, but looking for a way to make clean, classic, neutral invites stand out? Playing with fonts can really be a great way to add some eye-catching details to your wedding invitation suite.

Try a mix of both script and print fonts. Or maybe try adding in some whimsical and modern fonts. Changing the color of the text on your invites will make it pop as well.

Check out the different fonts featured on all on these neutral invites- and save them to your dream wedding Pinterest board!

Black & Ivory Beauty

Elegant as always, you can’t go wrong with a black and ivory combo. The bride and groom’s names stand out in a modern, whimsical font, while the rest of the text is more of a traditional print font. The insert cards also feature the same script font at the top, as well as a timeline of the wedding day schedule, with adorable little icons for each event of the day.

Dusty Gray & Rose Accents

Here we have a stacked invite on two-ply paper. Changing up the font styles and colors are just small ways to personalize your invites. A bold, modern font in a shade of dusty gray for the bride and groom’s names, with hints of rose mixed in for the wedding date and venue. A whimsical script font is also used in several places in this invitation suite. Rose satin ribbon ties everything together and matches beautifully with the rose colored text.

Whimsical Touches

We love the script font used to showcase the names of our bride and groom, as it draws your eye right to that part of the invite. This font is also used on the headings of the insert cards. A more traditional print font is used to share all the important wedding day info. The wedding date also stands out, as a different font was used to make it pop.

Mixing It Up

This Save the Date with a vellum overlay showcases how using a mix of different fonts can really make everything come together perfectly. The couple’s names pop in a large modern font, while traditional script accents are also used at the same time. The wedding date is in a different font, making it a point of focus. And of course we can’t forget to mention the beautiful picture of our newly engaged couple!
