Invites for Destination Weddings
A destination wedding takes place somewhere other than the place where the couple is currently living. It is a great way to celebrate your marriage in a dream location of your choice. Destination weddings are generally held in places that have a special meaning to the couple, beautiful scenery, and memorable experiences for the guests. Here are some of the invitations we’ve recently designed for our couples having destination weddings.
An Island Wedding
A pretty watercolor image of the location is front and center on these deckled edge wedding invites for a wedding in Palm Beach, Aruba. The Details booklet is made to look like a passport for the guests and has all of the important information they need printed inside. Twine is tied into a small bow around each invitation and will hold the Details booklet and Response card neatly in the back.

Images of Nature
Gold foil printing takes these wedding invites to the next level. This destination wedding is taking place in Lake Bled, Slovenia. An image of the mountains is printed across the top of the main invite. Greenery is printed directly on the vellum that is wrapped around each invitation, and the Details card is printed on a matching green paper with white ink. To hold the vellum closed, a paper belly band with a gold foil etching of the venue is used.
Gold foil printing makes all of the beautiful details and text really stand out.
Gold foil printing was also used to create the image of the venue on the paper belly band. Small graphics of greenery are printed on the vellum that wraps around each invite.
A small schedule of events is printed on green cardstock, as well as a tiny image of a boat.
Gold, Glitter and Palm Tree Leaves
Aruba is a popular location for a destination wedding, not only because of it’s beautiful island backdrop, but the weather is also ideal for any outdoor events. These invites are definitely giving us island vibes with the laser cut palm leaves on the outside of the enclosure, as well as on the pocket inside. A gold border frames the main invite, and white satin ribbon holds each invitation closed.
A brushed gold border frames the main invite.
Lasercut palm tree leaves create the pocket that holds the insert cards inside the enclosure.
To complete this invitation suite, we wrapped each enclosure in ivory ribbon and finished them with a monogrammed tag.
A Wedding In Italy
Opal and black are an elegant combination for a wedding in Lake Como, Italy. Traditional script and print fonts are carried throughout the invitation. A custom crest featuring the couples initials is printed at the top of the main invite, and all of the details and accommodations information is printed along the side panels. These invitations are finished with black satin ribbon and a wax seal- just perfect for a black tie destination wedding.
A wedding day timeline is printed on one of the side panels of the tri-fold enclosure.
