Meet the new Mr. and Mrs. Raphael. They tied the knot in September 2021 at the absolutely beautiful Pen Ryn Estate. We loved designing their unique and stunning wedding invitation suite, featuring an oversize square invitation with gold foil and gold beveled edges.

Chelsea and Brandon are sharing all of the details of their wedding day - read on and swoon over their stunning photos, captured by Carley K Photography.

APS: Tell us about your wedding day. The date, place and any extra fun details you would like to share.

Chelsea: Our wedding was September 11, 2021 at Pen Ryn Estate in Bensalem, Pennsylvania.

APS: How do you remember that special day? Any great memory that stands out?

Chelsea: Our wedding day was perfect! The weather was dream wedding day weather, 77 degrees and just the right amount of sun. Having all our friends and family from all walks of life in one place felt like a fairytale. Everything from hair and makeup, first look, bridal party/family pictures was stress free and felt easy. We did our first look right by the water and the slight breeze and warm air made the moment even more unforgettable. My mom surprised us and hired a painter to do a live portrait of our first dance and we now have it hanging in our home.

APS: What is your favorite part about being married?

Chelsea: The best part about being married is having a built-in best friend, cheerleader and partner-in-crime. Always being able to count on each other for a good laugh and having someone by your side every step of the way.

APS: Describe your wedding theme. Why did you choose this vibe?

Chelsea: When planning our wedding we wanted a clean and modern look. We had a gold and white color scheme with a touch of greenery.

APS: How did you decide on your wedding invitation design?

Chelsea: Lisa made my wedding invitation experience so easy. I told her my vision (clean, white, gold, modern) and we designed it together. Prior to our appointment, I had a friend design a logo with our initials and Lisa incorporated that into our design. I received endless amounts of compliments on our invitation, it was so gorgeous and one-of-a-kind.

APS: What design element or feature was a “must have” for your wedding invitations?

Chelsea: My must haves were the initial logo at the top of the invitation and gold lettering. Lisa also designed our save-the-dates, menu cards, programs and hotel bag itinerary that were all equally as beautiful.

APS: What advice do you have for other brides and grooms looking to incorporate their theme or personal elements into their wedding invitations?

Chelsea: I would recommend doing some research prior to your appointment. Getting an idea of things you like and dislike. Bring in pictures of your theme or personal elements you would like to incorporate into your invitation so that everyone is on the same page. Be open minded and make sure you absolutely love it before moving forward on your design.
