A Fresh Start in 2021

Every year, we share a holiday letter full of gratitude and thanks, wrapping up another great year. Twenty-twenty, however, had other plans. This was a year unlike any other. When we look back on the optimism and spirit we had in our 2020 holiday letter, we can’t help but chuckle! Nobody knew what awaited us at the start of this new decade.

It has been a tough year for so many reasons. One thing lost was the ability to gather safely with loved ones in celebration. Over the past few months, we’ve seen our brides and grooms change their plans, rearrange expectations, or cancel their dream weddings outright.

But despite the hardships, we discovered that love is never cancelled. Our friends and neighbors have shown resiliency, determination, courage, and care. This year was truly about embracing the positives. Some of our couples were able to have beautiful wedding days in a safe environment, through smaller gatherings or intimate elopements.

We are grateful for our clients who continued to support us in some small way - sharing an APS Instagram post, emailing our team with kind words, recommending our services to a friend, leaving a positive review on The Knot and Wedding Wire, purchasing a calendar from our holiday shoppe. These actions mean so much to us as a small business. And we send our many thanks to our wedding professional colleagues who connected with our team, included us in styled shoots, and shared our work in wedding magazines and on blogs.

Excitedly, we end the year on a high note: we were named as one of The Knot’s “Best of Weddings” for the ninth year in a row! We are speechless about winning this high honor for almost a decade. We cannot thank our incredible couples enough for trusting in us - we truly enjoy the opportunity to bring every single couple’s wedding stationery dreams to life. It is a dream come true to be able to do this each and every day.

Now, as we get ready to celebrate the holidays a little differently this year, we send our merriest greetings to our incredible community. We cannot wait to see the good that the future holds. Stay safe, stay warm - and we’ll see you for a fresh new start in 2021!
